Engineering works mean there will be no Jubilee Line at North Greenwich this weekend – with passengers asked to take replacement buses instead.
The line will be closed between Green Park and Stratford all weekend, with a short period in the early hours of Saturday when it is closed from Finchley Road to Stratford.
Replacement buses will run through the Blackwall Tunnel all weekend towards Canning Town and Stratford. The road link, which has been affected by Silvertown Tunnel works, will remain open in both directions all weekend.
The closure comes as Charlton Athletic play Derby County at The Valley, with the East Midlands side expected to bring one of the largest away followings of the season.
However, a normal twice-hourly rail service is expected to run on Thameslink between St Pancras and Charlton, despite an Aslef overtime ban targeting services.
A concert at the O2 by the hip-hop act D-Block Europe on Sunday will also be affected by the closure.
Normal services are also expected to run on the Elizabeth Line to Woolwich and Abbey Wood, although the branch to Shenfield will be closed.
Docklands Light Railway services from Woolwich Arsenal and Lewisham are also expected to run as usual; however, no Southeastern Metro trains will be calling at Lewisham on Sunday and there will be no rail services on the Bexleyheath line.
A slightly reduced service will run on SE London’s other rail link across the Thames, with no London Overground trains to New Cross on Saturday and to Clapham Junction on Sunday.
Passengers can check their journeys at tfl.gov.uk and nationalrail.co.uk.
